Ground Floor Remodelled

Our clients invited Harpers to work on their beautiful Holmfirth home from the early planning stages, with a brief to create a functional open-plan living space.

Originally, the ground floor was divided into a dining room and living room connected by an archway, alongside a separate kitchen and utility room. Three individual doorways from the hallway added to the sense of separation between the spaces.

The new layout brings the kitchen, dining and living areas together into one considered, cohesive space and gives the clients more connection to their stunning garden.

The redesign has also simplified the hallway, reducing three doorways to just one, creating a more streamlined entrance into the space.

Adjoining the kitchen is a dedicated utility and boot room, accessed through a pocket door, offering further storage.

Harpers project managed the scheme, coordinating closely with contractors throughout to ensure the new layout progressed to schedule while remaining true to the original design vision and agreed specification.
